There are many ways to whiten your teeth, from whitening toothpaste, over the counter whitening strips to dentist-provided products and in-office procedures. The one you choose will depend on your current dental work, budget, and whether or not you’re preparing for a specific event and the timing of that event.

In-Office Whitening Procedure

Are your teeth stained or discolored? It’s normal. Over time teeth naturally become discolored. But you don’t have to live with a dingy smile. For the ultimate in effectiveness, convenience and comfort, we use ZOOM!2™, a revolutionary tooth whitening procedure. A state-of-the-art in-office whitening system, ZOOM!2 dramatically whitens your teeth in one short visit, making it the perfect choice for the busy individual. The procedure begins with a short preparation to isolate and protect your lips and gums. Then we’ll apply the ZOOM!2 Whitening Gel and turn on a specially designed light to activate the gel. Teeth typically become at least six to ten shades whiter, sometimes more. A five-minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure. Zoom!2 is not appropriate for every patient, so contact Elite Dental today for a consultation.

We also offer the Opalescence system to brighten your smile. The process is easy. First, whitening trays are custom made to fit your teeth perfectly. You simply place the prescription-level whitening gel into the trays, pop them over your teeth and wear them while you sleep. The special whitening gel will help remove stains and return your smile to a youthful, vibrant brilliance.

As another alternative we offer the Sheer White prescription-strength strips. These are similar to over-the-counter whitening strips, but adapt much better to the teeth and have an increased whitening strength.

Whitening Products

There are many whitening kits and products currently on the market. Some are more effective than others, and some are not appropriate for use on some types of dental work. To make sure you get the maximum benefit from your whitening investment, let Dr. Lewis make a recommendation based on your current dental work, budget and objective.
